Terms and condition

General provisions

  1. The information below specifies the terms and conditions of the online store available at www.sycylia.com. The store is owned by Avangard Travel SC Bożena Miller Palazzo Girolamo Palazzo, hereinafter referred to as the Seller. These terms and conditions apply to the Seller and all Customers using the ordering system.
  2. All complaints related to the provision of services resulting from the ignorance or violation of these terms and conditions will not be considered.

Ordering

  1. The website available at sycylia.com offers the sale of products via the Internet.
  2. Orders can be placed online at www.sycylia.com, by phone at +48 32 2517990 (Mon – Sun from 12pm till 11pm) or via e-mail: biuro@eloise.pl
  3. Once the order is placed, the Customer receives an e-mail confirmation of order placement. The Seller reserves the right to confirm order placement by phone.
  4. Placing an order via the online ordering system is equivalent to accepting these terms and conditions.
  5. The Seller reserves the right to reject an order, limit the payment methods or demand advance payment.
  6. Orders will only be completed on the condition that the order form is filled out correctly and submitted automaticallyOrder modification and cancellation

Order modification and cancellation

  1. Until the order completion process begins, the Customer has the right to modify their order by phone: +48 32 2517990.
  2. Orders can be cancelled until the processing of the ordered product begins.

Pricing

  1. All prices are listed in Polish złoty (PLN) and include VAT.
  2. The price listed next to each product is valid at the moment of order placement by the Customer (and its confirmation). The only exception are prices with evident editorial errors.
  3. The Seller reserves the right to change prices of offered products, add new products to the offer as well as launch, modify and cancel promotional campaigns at sycylia.com.
  4. Shipping costs will be added to the total order price automatically during order placement.


Receipts and invoices

  1. A proof of purchase is issued for each order.
  2. If the Customer provides all necessary details, a VAT invoice can be issued and delivered with the order by the delivery personnel.
  3. The proof of purchase should be kept for possible complaints.


Payments

  1. The store accepts the following payment methods:

            1. credit card or electronic payment system – real-time payments processed by the PayU        system

  1. payment on delivery – payment by cash at the time of accepting the order from the delivery personnel.

Personal data protection

  1. Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (consolidated text of 6 July 2002 – Journal of Laws 2002.101.926), the Seller is obliged to protect personal data.
  2. By placing an order, the Customer agrees to the processing and use of their personal data for the purpose of order completion, possible complaints, streamlining of future orders and for marketing purposes. The data is not processed or used for any other purpose.
  3. Each Customer has the right to review their data, correct it and demand that their data is deleted and no longer used.
  4. The Customer may agree to receive information related to the company’s offer, services and promotional campaigns via e-mail.


Final provisions

  1. These terms and conditions are valid from 1 May 2012.
  2. The Seller may modify these terms and conditions at any time.
  3. The modified terms and conditions are valid from the moment they are published on the website of the online store at sycylia.com.
  4. The information included on the website at sycylia.com is not an offer according to the provisions of the Polish Civil Code. By placing an order using the means available on the website of the online store, the Customer places an offer to buy a given product according to terms specified in product description. The purchase/sale contract is concluded when the Customer signs a written confirmation of product acceptance included in the shipping documentation.
  5. In the matters not regulated by these terms and conditions, the provision of the Polish Civil Code apply.
  6. All remarks concerning the functioning of the store, presentations, personal data and any irregularities should be e-mailed to: info@sycylia.com.
  7. Any possible disputes arising from the fulfillment of the purchase/sale contract will be settled by a common court of law.
